this is the 3rd of 4th time I unsubscribe from their emails. They did stop for a while, but I just got another one. WTF?
I may have logged in to the web site to schedule tire appointments or check previous purchases, but I did not subscribe to any emails.

Former President Joseph R. Biden Jr. is escalating his battle against Republican claims that he might not have been in control of high-profile clemency decisions issued under his name at the end of his term and, more generally, that his cognitive state impaired his functioning in office.
In an interview with The New York Times, Mr. Biden said that he had orally granted all the pardons and commutations issued at the end of his term, calling President Trump and other Republicans “liars” for claiming his aides had used an autopen to do so without his authorization.
“I made every decision,” Mr. Biden said in a phone interview on Thursday, asserting that he had his staff use an autopen replicating his signature on the clemency warrants because “we’re talking about a whole lot of people.”

Burn the house down, literally almost, thanks to U-Verse DVR power supply |

I was sitting at my desk (where my AT&T U-Verse TV DVR is) and noticed the red light indicating a recording came on. I didn't think anything would normally be recording at the time. When I looked again, all the lights on the DVR were flashing on and off. I thought that's not good and got up to pull the power and do a reset and when I did I smelled smoke.
I managed to pull the power adapter where it connects to the back of the DVR even though it was smoking a little and really hot. After I pulled it, smoke started pouring out of it and continued until I could unplug the other end of the power supply.
I hate to think how this would have turned out if I wasn't home at the time.

Anyone else struggling with the forum being very slow?
When refreshing the home page, maybe 10 seconds... clicking the post button, another 10 seconds.
I'm on Safari on an M1 Pro with 900 Mbps, so it's not those things.
Anyone else?
