A friend of mine who runs a non-profit reptile rescue is attempting to put a stop to rattlesnake round-ups. He's going to start heeere in NM and then, hopefully, work his way around the other states that still allow them.<br />
<br />
His plan is to circulate a petition (online and off), and then present his case in front of the legislature. He's managed to get some support from a few big names, surprisingly. He's even scheduled to meet with one to discuss the subject.<br />
<br />

I don't have anything to do with putting this together, I'm just trying to support him in any way I can - including publicizing this.<br />

You don't have to like snakes to hate rattlesnake round-ups.
