Firefox 6 still does this - Black - 08-19-2011 ![]() 3 quits tonight on the 'home office' mac. Windows still open missing their right 1/3 on the bedroom mac, only now they cut off just right of the reload button instead of just left. Running 10.6.8 on both. Re: Firefox 6 still does this - wave rider - 08-19-2011 Six seems to use more memory and it did keep creeping up. (Keep cookies and site preferences when clearing the history.) Re: Firefox 6 still does this - Black - 08-19-2011 Chakravartin wrote: Done. Same problem with new windows. Re: Firefox 6 still does this - Chakravartin - 08-19-2011 What do you mean by "Windows still open missing their right 1/3 on the bedroom mac..." ...? New windows are very narrow? But there's nothing preventing you from resizing them to fill the screen? ... What happens if you close all windows, open a new window, resize the new window, then quit and relaunch Firefox? What happens if you disable JavaScript, close all windows, open a new window, resize the new window, then quit and relaunch Firefox? You could take the time to construct a coherent description of the problem and respectfully accept the free tech support. Or you could stew in your own misery. Why'd you bother posting if you prefer the misery? Re: Firefox 6 still does this - DewGuy - 08-20-2011 Running Firefox 6.0 under OS X 10.6.8 and I don't have any of those problems (nor did I under Firefox 5) must be an incompatible plugin or something's corrupt. |
