I'm really happy with the video I get from it but to be honest, I'm not fussy about video. For the family and vacation video I take it's fine. I have a fairly high end Sony Digital8 camcorder that hasn't been used in years so I guess it has replaced my camcorder so to speak. I was thinking I could get it for my wife for Christmas to kill 2 birds with one stone. She has a good tripod with a video head.
