A Panasonic camera with a 1" sensor in an (Android) smartphone!

that takes 4K video (and lets you pick stills from it, too).

Has this been around for a while? It's new to me.

Polaroid had one for a while. Have to google it to see what's happened...

I think Samsung had one for a while but it wasn't as thin as that Panny looks.

Does it use 120 or 35mm film?

I think you meant, "A smartphone in a 'real' camera." The iPhone 6S has a pretty real camera:

It doesn't. - RAMd®d - 11-19-2015

That's a real camera with a smartphone.

Yeah, I guess so. I have an iPhone 5, and it's not impressive, but the 6s seems pretty darn good.

The Panasonic looks like it has a fixed lens, no zoom. That's not necessarily bad (it's a Leica lens), and arguably better for image quality, but less flexible for casual users. I assume the fixed lens is required by the large sensor in a small package.

PS I notice it does not seem to be image-stabilized. The iPhone 6s is.

The iPhone 6s does not have OIS. A stupid means of differentiating the phones. Why not just differentiate based upon a screen size? I don't think people who don't like the larger phablet-sized 6s+ will all of a sudden buy it just because of OIS.

OK, the 6s+ does:

I can't keep track. I just have a 5.
