which Irish Whuskey - Fritz - 10-20-2017 a friend is going to Ireland for a week. they would bring me back a bottle of something not imported to the US. Any suggestions? I like Laphroaig normally, though I know there is a world of diff between that and an Irish. But smooth and warm, spice and wood. Re: which Irish Whuskey - mrbigstuff - 10-20-2017 Have you been hitting the whuskey? Jk Re: which Irish Whuskey - DP - 10-20-2017 Any Irish whiskey will work just fine! Re: which Irish Whuskey - Lux Interior - 10-20-2017 I have a bottle of Jameson I got in Ireland. It's obviously a big brand in the US, too, but there are some "flavors" that are not imported. Tullamore Dew is the other major brand. I've never had it. Bushmill's is Northern Ireland, which is like, a whole 'nother country, man. So if you like your spirits to taste like they've been poured through a clump of dirt and moss, stick with a more peat-y whiskey. But as for me and my house, mmm... Redbreast... |
