Bought one at Ikea recently and I'm so tempted to replace a lot of bulbs in lamps with those. But, at $8 per, I won't.

Look on Amazon, the bulbs have dropped in half is price over the past year, many styles at around $4 per bulb

You can get filament style LED bulbs for much less than $8.00 each from various places on the 'net.
