All you 49ers fans: Raiders fill QB need with Jimmy Garoppolo, sources say - DP - 03-13-2023
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo plans to sign with the Las Vegas Raiders, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini and Adam Schefter.
Garoppolo agreed to a three-year, $67.5 million deal, including $34 million guaranteed, a source told Schefter. He will be reunited with Raiders coach Josh McDaniels, who served as the Patriots' offensive coordinator during Garoppolo's three years in New England.

Last statement may be true, it is for virtually all QB's, however I've always liked Jimmy G. He could easily lead any team now that he is not stuck behind Tommy Boy. Hope he continues to do well.

They're planning to go for Lamar Jackson. He'll probably end up on the West Coast. I heard a rumor that the Rams could possibly trade Stafford if necessary.

Of course I don't want the 49ers to be better than the Rams. But, with the unstoppable Christian McCaffrey, that's a good scenario for Jackson. He can focus more on the pocket.
