This is where the fight is in the Senate. No other races are close.

There needs to be a SuperPAC to fund conservative Independent candidates to siphon off Republican voters.

It's what Republicans do.

My guess at the moment (it's still early) is that the Republicans will probably take the Arizona seat and have a really good shot at the West Virginia seat. I think there is a much better chance that the Republicans will take control of the Senate than that the Democrats will retain control.

I suspect that Republicans will be taking a hit over their radical stance on abortion and perhaps a few other things such as Ukraine, so the issue is whether there will be a blue wave election

IMHO the Republican's game plan is to allow the default to cause a recession. Then push the blame Biden mantra like there is no tomorrow in the hope of winning the White House. It will also mean the House probably stays GOP, and the Senate will flip as well.

Why keeping the Veto pen is paramount. Aside: It's interesting it's casually called Veto Pen when a Veto is when the president doesn't sign a bill, right?

They are already pushing the blame game, the last several days I have been getting ads placed by AAN in the rotation showing up in a free solitaire gam I downloaded for my iPad. May have to start looking for a new app for that.

Yep. Counting on people's short memories and the "common knowledge" that Republicans are better on the economy. Short short-cut thinking helps the Republicans keep winning (along with them not giving a shit about democracy).
