In the entertainment business she's what called a foil. Without a foil all you have is namby-pamby Kumbaya and no ratings.

In the world of TV conflict rules and garners numbers. If that were true in ForumWorld this side would outpost the other. It doesn't by a large margin.
Sanity rules; if it doesn't in Washington at least it does here.
