It's been a couple of weeks, and I haven't read about any asteroids hitting Lafayette...I hope everything is all right with him.
Edit: Besides, I need advice about replacement windows! Where is that man when you need him!

He's not an admin, he's a moderator.
Despite the pay and benefits (zero!) - I'm sure he'd
rather keep the position just to remove my threads
about Lafayette.

I e-mailed him via gmail and PM'ed about 2 weeks ago and still no reply... No activity for 2-3 weeks on his username...
Maybe he stepped outside!!! Oh my god... Does he know that it's not safe? hee hee...
He could be away for work or possibly on vacation...

I know he does battle with Verizon on a semi-regular basis.
Having grown up with GTE for phone service, I can guarantee you- the name change
from "General Telephone" to "GTE" to "Verizon" means nothing when it comes to
their level of incompetence.

Gutie- you should email him too. Maybe he'll be more motivated to respond if he knows the "wimmen" of MR are looking for him.

I sent him an email to his Verizon address - it bounced back. Very strange. Someone give me a holler when we know he's ok.

Things are going well- how about you?I am 99% sure 'fil dropped the Verizon service because of the ongoing problems he was having with them. I think he switched to a cable internet account.
Keeping my fingers crossed that he is off on vacation somewhere sans computer and nothing is wrong...
