"I'm not fat; I'm pregnant with ice cream's baby!"

Re: This shirt cracks me up - Refurbvirgin - 03-29-2006

I made the mistake of greeting a woman friend wearing a tight t-shirt over a rounded belly with "Hi Debby - are you having another baby?"

She gently informed me that was the rudest thing I could ever say to a woman, and that it had been five years since she was capable of having a child, and that, besides, it looked like I was further along than she was. I tried to smooth things over by telling her that she looked like she was still young enough to have a baby, but somehow that didn't help.

You're not supposed to assume that a woman is pregnant unless you see a baby coming out of her...

Last year, right after our 1st child was born we took him to Easter lunch. The waitress said to my wife, "WHEN IS THE BABY DUE". We knew this waitress very well and my wife had just set down our baby in the baby seat...

The waitress looked very very embarrassed...

Don't Ever Assume Nothing When it Comes to asking "when the baby is due"...

If a woman is wearing a too tight teeshirt that makes her look pregnant, she needs to be told about it.
