I can't say that I knew 'mint, but I do know that I've read his messages and if my failing memory remembers correctly, replied to some. I'll miss him. To everyone in 'mint's family (both real and cyber) please accept my condolences and a big cyber hug. Sorry to hear that he ordered a MacBook and never got to use it. Leader! Rest in peace, 'mint.

I was curious to see when he started posting at DealMac, and it was April 10, 2003 (and he still continued to post this year), he had over 12000 posts there.
This was one of the threads he posted to on his first day, seemed like a fitting choice given the other posters in that thread.

I think my first recollection of him on the forum was when he was first trying to add a picture to his signature, and was having issues with the size of it, and several patient members helped him out.
When I first read his final post, I was expecting to see another post the next day from the library and everyone trying to help revive his iBook. Too bad that never happened.

I don't think I ever had a direct exchange with Mint, but having been on DM/here for
years, have read tons of his posts. I will miss his quirkiness, sports fanaticism and
like all of ours, his love of all things Mac.
