Same here: I absolutely hate getting up in the dark; I find it stressful and difficult.
It gets dark so early now that it trying to extend the day is pointless, unless you get out of work at 4PM. (I'm guessing most of you don't.)
Getting up with some hint of daylight visible will be a welcome change, although since the clock change has been shoved into November, I have lost a few weeks of normal waking because of this stupidity. I'd be happy to see DST eliminated completely to avoid weeks of pointless sleep deprivation twice a year.

On the list of things I'm concerned about, Daylight Savings Time is so far far down that I quit assigning numbers.

I would prefer year round DST because I prefer to have any extra light at the end of the day rather than the beginning. But that's because I have never been a morning person/early riser.

It's dark when I get up to go to work and dark when I come home. All year long. But I prefer summer all year around so I'd vote for that.
