Are you trying to suggest that happened?

And, is there anyone who will admit to being on "your side?"

Re: Sarah Palin Battle Hymn - cbelt3 - 01-18-2011

I personally think it's nice that American citizens are involving themselves in the political process. Political songs were a major part of the American political landscape well into the 20th Century, but they really peaked in the 19th century with songs like "Dixie", "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", "John Brown's Body", and so forth.

Hark ! The Political Angles  sing !

Re: Sarah Palin Battle Hymn - the_poochies - 01-18-2011

Political songs go way back to the founding of the Republic. Heck, even I have a 45 RPM record for a county Sheriff candidate from the 1970s somewhere.

Here is some egg for your face:

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2006/04/17/out-of-the-mouths-of-babes/

"Our country’s stood beside us
People have sent us aid.
Katrina could not stop us, our hopes will never fade.
Congress, Bush and FEMA
People across our land
Together have come to rebuild us and we join them hand-in-hand!"

Your "side" is a very, very small group. Not many on this forum, let alone in the US, constantly complain as much, nor as often.

For someone who emigrated here, you have to ask yourself, is there anything in the US that you like? You only seem to be championing other complainers.

Dakota cherry-picks history to fit the narrative he lives by. Bush & Reagan never did anything wrong and those that pick on them are just being haters.

Ok, your "side" has at least two members.

Well, let me see if I can dig up a video of it or something. There must be one somewhere.

Re: Sarah Palin Battle Hymn - john dough - 01-18-2011

Even if there is a video, who cares?

Re: Sarah Palin Battle Hymn - Mac1337 - 01-18-2011

Even? That is why I never give links.

Re: Sarah Palin Battle Hymn - Seacrest - 01-18-2011

Do I have to do EVERYTHING around here?
