Well, my Frakkintosh's score is 3987 -- so I'm lagging far behind now with an old C2D at 2.67GHz -- that i7 SandyBridge is almost 3X faster. Yet, the user experience, as my oldest son pbserves, is not *that* much better than with a Mac Mini.
But I guess this Fall I'll have to think about an upgrade. No, wait, next year. No, wait.... I want a Mac Mini with an i7, 8GB RAM and a 256G SSD.
