That Presonus has a limitation of no better than 44kHz or 48kHz sample rate, so I'd agree with you. The Griffin is likely about as good overall, even though the Presonus is 24-bit. A lot depends on the front end, too. Re: Found My LPs - Will Collier - 06-26-2011 Friend of mine gave me a newly-remastered copy of "Aja" on LP a couple of years back... went and got my turntable repaired just so I could play it. That record is just glorious; you can hear instruments all over the place that aren't audible on the CD.
