The above is old news let loose by the BBC --- but it didn't get ANY attention over here.
That's too bad. And the worst thing in the world a US Marine did was to rub the face of that statue with the
flag of the United States of America. Choreographed... but still carried out by idiots, and a kid with his shoe off.
That statue was supposed to be THEIR removal - not ours. Very stupid, like so much of the rest of it.
