......well, if there was a rumor going around that sex shortened colds.....people would be doing it whether it "worked" or not.......non.....???

Iirc, regularly taking echinacea daily might lower your resistance, obviously not what you want to do...
The one real answer to avoid colds ( I repeat this pretty often because I'm living proof!): Neti, daily.
