That would have scared the heck out of me. It looks like a demented rat in a fancy costume!

Now Pogo, there's a Possum I could live with.

Ha, ha. We have lots of possums around our house. They are quite unattractive. He will wander off soon.

What mm was yer lens set at? Wink

If you did have an SX40 you could of had the wife uncover the grill and gotten the same photo from inside yer house while watching the lastest Jennifer Aniston movie.

But seriously, that's a pretty neat shot!

No idea - just an old Canon Point & Shoot A570IS. I zoomed until he filled the frame from as far back as I could go (which wasn't far as the patio is only 6' wide with walls on all sides). Actually, I wanted to get the grille off the patio so there was more room for all my damn plants and a couple chairs. The last time I used the grille was after the hurricanes in 2005.
Ahhh, I never grille anyway… It's just that the dog was going ballistic.

You should hear what they say about those funny looking creatures that stand on two legs.

Whoa! Freakout!
I opened my hibachi once and found an entire rat family. Almost had a heart attack.
Send that possum to New Zealand and they can turn it into possum wool socks. So soft!!!

I can assure you that had I been the one to discover that thing, you all would have heard me screaming no matter where you are in the world.

At least it was alive.

I've opened my grill to the smell of rotten flesh emanating from an unidentifiable creature that was writhing with maggots.

That grill went on full blast real quick .
