+1 Open DNS... Also I have two routers. His and Mine. I can disconnect and stash his if I need too.

yes but do realize that anyone with admin privileges can change the DNS servers on a computer and that will bypass the OpenDNS ones set at the router level. it's how mom could visit Facebook on her computer while sonny boy couldn't on his.

a child, no. a teen, possibly, especially when technically it's their computer. his computer or not, my son DID NOT have admin privileges on it when in high school. galled him to no end but i needed to keep the lid on illegal downloads in addition to study time stealing activities like Facebook and YouTube.
