We had Bruce Springsteen singing for President Obama as well. So ?

Really ? You're gonna ignore music you like because of the political opinion of the musician ? That's like ignoring movies because of the political opinions of the actors. Or refusing to enter a business because of the political opinions of the proprietor.

You DO know that, effective November 7th, none of it matters any more, right ?

Geez...

Now... if you REALLY want to diss The Meat, read this review of his recent concert in Cleveland. Hint... some rockers really SHOULD retire.

Hmmmm, Springsteen vs. Meatloaf. High times out there in Cleveland, huh?

The most important part of the article:

In something of an odd coincidence, Romney's appearance came just hours after his wife, Ann, appeared on the "Rachael Ray" show and cooked the candidate's favorite meal: meatloaf.

Home Of Rock & Roll, baby ! Gotta do something during those grey winter months... Come on out and see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It's a pretty cool museum. I was totally geeked out looking at John Lennon's glasses in one display. Stood there and sang "Let it Be" sotto voce.

At issue here is that these actions make it clear that he's either an idiot, or easily bought, and either way it means I can no longer admire him. I can forgive not having it anymore musically much easier.

Besides George and the Glee lady, should I know who any of those people are?
I got the chick from Scrubs, Alicia Silverstone, George Takei, dude from NSYNC and the Glee/Mighty Wind woman.

I dunno the others, but I've heard girls squeal when they saw some of the actresses I couldn't identify. They must be on some CW show or Nickelodeon.

I imagine we would be expected to recognize Lance Bass and Alicia Silverstone, although I did not. I did know that the blonde who starts it out is Sarah Chalke from "Scrubs". The spot is listed on IMDB and has the complete cast, most of whom seem to be from movies and tv shows which I haven't seen.
