I'm suggesting that we seem to have escaped a PR problem that has followed us for centuries.

All these deaths and attacks from bitter japanese terrorists would seem to indicate that Japan is not a favored ally at all.

Have you ever spoken to someone from outside the US. I know a few people, educated people who remember and teach about the only act of Nuclear War by one country on another.
( I happen to think it was the right decision and have spent hours discussing it)
