If she's willing to travel a few hours, maybe check out the UofM. Sometimes it works well if you kind of go backwards- start at the big outfit and ask for a referral from them for someone in your area.
My dad went to the Cleveland Clinic for a cardiac consultation. They agreed with what his primary cardiologist said but were able to refer him to a couple studies and another specialist in our area.
