The Packers-Falcons here is snowy but it's not the same...
Plus the Lions-Eagles game has fantasy implications for me in a big way.

Hopefully, when the Jersey SuperBowl commences on February 2, the weather will match the season with -10°F wind chill and blinding snow. And the Ground Hog will emerge from the Fifty Yard Line, take a look around and blow his brains out. That's my kinda SuperBowl! A MAN'S SuperBowl.

I just turned the radio on with a minute or so left. Why did the Eagles guy slide down at the 10 instead of scoring? I could see it if they were ahead by 1 and could conceivably lose by scoring a touchdown, but they were ahead 34 to 20. Is there a code in the pros that you don't run up the score?

Even tho the Lions reverted to their stupid days-no way they should have lost to Philly-those two calls were bad. And when I finally got to watch some TV, there are some bad calls going on in other games too. Time for the replacement refs to come back! I mean, blatantly bad calls...

They played the GB/Atlanta game here in Chicago so I didn't get to see any of the mess. Bears are playing at home tomorrow night- no snow predicted but it will be COLD. Really cold.

Woof. Playing in that kind of crap caused me to quit football in 6th grade 3/4 of the way through the last game of the season. After getting stomped into the ice for the eleventy hundredth time, I looked at my hands. My fingers had turned blue, and the blood from my skinned knuckles had frozen onto the backs of my hands. I walked up to the Coach, said "I quit" and went to the locker room. Coach didn't say a word. I showered, changed, and rode my bike home. (in the snow, uphill both ways..)

Wimp. Cold never killed a player. Heat, that's the killer. But then I wasn't a football player but rather a thin-clad who remembers running a race in t-shirt, shorts and barefoot in the snow. I wore a jock strap for warmth.
