Thanks everyone, Rudie, now that steak looks like it would be the ultimate
birthday dinner for me!
The Birthday Fairy has an awesome cake collection, doesn't he?
The family all headed to our favorite diner, where everybody knows our
name kind of place. I told the waitress that it was my BDay and I didn't
care what we paid, but I wanted to upgrade my cup of clam chowder to a
bowl. What she came up with was to fill a salad bowl. I was in chowder
heaven. It's a great homemade clam chowder, thick and large chunks
of everything, plus their secret ingredient, fresh dill . After years of saying
how theirs was a little different, they finally told me about the dill .
Now we are just chilling at home, recovering from a quart o'chowder.
