I remember both of those reports, which is why coffee.
A bit earlier, it was chocolate bars, but I didn't eat those. I didn't drink coffee either, but since I was the Graveshift Owl, it was my responsibility to have a fresh pot ready for the incoming dayshift staggerers.

Now before all this there were Hot Dogs. You all know about Hot Dogs. It's a problem that keeps people awake at nights, which was a good thing for me, since my job depended on staying awake at night:

My solution was to not buy four packs of hot dogs, while simultaneously not buying five packs of buns.

Maybe so, but when you send them an 8x10 photo to print through their on-line service, they crop it, even when you reject their auto-crop option.

I have been using Photoshop since it shipped on 5 floppies, and I know the file I sent was fine.

I haven't had that experience and their prints have been like what I sent. I usually crop my image the way I like and then add a narrow white border (might be wider on top and bottom for example). I then make my file (including borders) exactly 8 x 10 inches.
I just got back from there, and they still couldn't do it right. I took in thumb drive with an 8x10 300 PPI file. It can not be made to print at 100% size. It will auto-crop, and no way to turn it off. But he tried. I'll give him credit for that.
