On your body?

That's pretty daring to go running naked through the woods/weeds like that...

Poison ivy y y y y!

I'm using 91 per cent alcohol

Just an FYI. The oils to which you are allergic are soluble in 91% isopropanol, but the alcohol also carries the oils INTO your skin where it enhances your reaction. Never use alcohol. Always use soap and water to solubilize the oils and wash them away. Once the oils are in your skin, no amount of washing will remove them.

Just sayin.

You just blew my mind. I've been singing it as "a notion" since 1959. (Not to be confused with "I've been this way since 1956.)
I'll 'scuse you while you kiss this guy…

A kid in my Boy Scout troop wiped his butt with it. We called him "Ivy" after that.

The $35 stuff (I assume it's Zanfel) really does work. Best results if applied immediately after exposure, though.

We bought this stuff for a fraction of the price. Supposed to be the same and it does have the same feel. When we work around poison ivy we basically do a scrub down with it outside and hose off. It's the first summer we haven't gotten poison ivy in years.

Vinegar made everything redder and more swollen at first, but then there was a good feeling after that. The day I used vinegar was the day it seems to have peaked. I would get a steroid treatment but I don't want my blood sugar to raise any more than it already is.

I appeciate the information about the alcohol.
