Re: Anybody have a Spirograph as a child? - JoeH - 01-16-2015 Younger brothers and sisters had Spirograph, I liked it well enough. But I preferred an older version of the idea. Don't recall the brand name, it consisted of a rotating drawing platform with geared cranks around the outside. The pen was held by connecting arms and depending on the settings different spiral patterns resulted. Damn, you gotta love the old toys!! Oh yeah! My chemistry set was my best ever toy. Boy, did I ever make a lot of hydrogen and anything else that might explode or burn spectacularly. Sadly, those days are gone.
