tortoise, I very much appreciate you relating those stories. fwiw, I also feel that the less time I spend in doctor's offices, the better I seem to feel about the relationship.
anyway, I may get this done sooner than not, as I need the crown and it won''t hold without that tooth in place. so, I will check out the relevant situations and ask around. we do know some dentists, although none are close personal friends.
