Seconding The Company Store percale sheets. They have some new pima percale sheets that I'm sure are amazing but I don't need new sheets. I love Costco but their sateen sheets are slippery and not my favorite. They are inexpensive (relatively) and come with four pillowcases, which is awesome, but they are my third choice to my Company Store sheets. My first choice is a random organic sheet set I got from West Elm years ago that was promptly discontinued. I have been trying to find an equivalent substitute for years with no luck. The closest were the organic sheets at Target, but they're not quite the same.

What's the issue with slippery sheets?

Lack of traction?

Re: High-quality bed sheets - FormerlySaleenl - 02-23-2016

Yeah, pillow slips all over so traction is an issue but the Costco ones are also mysteriously cold, like the opposite of flannel sheets. They just don't feel soft exactly, they are slick. Over time they haven't gotten softer, either.

I had bad luck with sheets from Macys. Lots of pilling and they shrank. I can't remember which specific type of Macys sheets so I can't avoid them. Easier just to buy sheets from a different vendor and not worry about it.

Thanks a lot, everyone - right now I'm looking at LL Bean and Company Store! Smile

Happened to me too.

I bought a car from Germany once, lots of breaking down and expensive to fix. I cant remember which specific type of car it was. Easier to just buy cars from Japan now and not worry about it?
