You may be looking at it from a conservative's point of view, from here it looks like Bernie stopped the Clinton inclination to drift right and co-op just enough Republican agenda so as to blunt opposition. She came in as Republican-lite and he kept her from going red state.

If you give any credence to party platforms, albeit modified, she came around to Bernie's view on both college tuition (free up to $125K family income) and expanding health care beyond Obamacare. There are a number of lesser points that were tailored to more suit his positions. Once elected, no President is bound to any but their own agenda, but having won an election espousing those points makes it harder to tack back right, something that Clinton's are noted for doing.

In actuality, Bernie had a massive impact on this primary season, for one thing, he took the poison out, socialist is no longer a pejorative slur equated with Communism and has shown that progressive ideas have a place at the political table.

All this while your guys got steamrollered by a flim-flam man.

I was as disappointed as the next Bernie supporter at the mere sight of it, but keeping in mind that he was required to do it, I wasn't surprised. He's still not conceded... if after the convention he's seen out on the trail drumming up support for her and he finally concedes, then it's over. Until then, stay tuned. It's all I can say.

"[H]e was required to do it"?!?!

What? Whose requirement? Is there some kind of rule out there I don't know about?

If saying that he will do everything he can to make Hillary Clinton the next president of the United States isn't concession, I'm really not sure what is. It's not like his comments were vague or evasive.

How much would you speculate that he got paid?
Who knows. But I very much doubt his did this of his own accord, without gaining something major in return... Why would he? Because who cares? Are die hard Bernie supporters now going to vote for Hillary that were NOT planning on it before his endorsement? Who exactly was this meant for?
