Re: D80 is Awesome! - Elfboy - 09-25-2006 Just read this in the conclusion (from papercup's link): "So we've established that the D80 is a great 'photographers camera', but how good are the images? The answer is, really very good, Nikon appear to have shaken off the soft-image demons of the past and are also using a slightly stronger (more consumer friendly) default sharpening level than the D200." It's been said to be a good backup body for those using the D200, but I disagree simply because it uses SD cards. I wonder why Nikon made that decision? Re: D80 is Awesome! - SeattlePhotog - 09-26-2006 Actually, I shoot with the D200, so I'm already a happy camper. These digital cameras will only get better and cheaper as time goes on. Re: D80 is Awesome! - vision63 - 09-26-2006 I borrowed the D200. I love that bad boy. Re: D80 is Awesome! - wowzer - 09-26-2006 I just got another SD card. A 2 gig 150x Ridata SD card costs $36 delivered. That's not expensive at all (like the cost of a decent dinner). Going to hit bestbuy today with my 80-200... |
