They asked the latter to present a potential case. They were not impressed with what they heard. There is no continuing FBI investigation of the Clinton Foundation, in any real sense, excepting within the minds of right-wing nutjobs, within and outside of the FBI. Face it - a reporter at Fox News wanted his scoop, he wanted to believe so badly, and he ended up just embarrassing himself and his pseudo-news organization instead.
