A lot more humor in this thread than I would have expected in response to such a sad revelation.
The more I learn about Ms. Garland's life, the worse I feel for her - the deck was stacked against her almost from the very beginning.

......the Studios got her addicted to amphetamines at a young age to keep her weight down.....they provided them to her......so yeah, stacked against her.....
