Pure accidental. Eating grapes on the bus and put seeds in a kleenex rather than the floor. Kleenex into pocket. Packed blouse, found when home washing the blouse.

Well, I thought grape might be a fun planter plant. I have no idea the root requirements of grapes but an interesting experiment.

Go for it!
Worst that can happen is they don't grow, or don't taste good. But the grape leaves could still be used to make Dolmas, and the grapes even if tart could make good jelly.

Since when in Colorado a foreign country needing customs declaration?

I carry an apple with me when I travel domestically as a snack without issue.
