Re: What are we liking for an ergonomic keyboard nowadays? (Added Bonus: a Mechanical Switch Keyboard site) - RAMd®d - 02-27-2019 I just got this in the mail a little while ago. If it were illuminated, I'd get it in a heartbeat, despite a price that would call EMS from my Watch. ![]() https://kinesis-ergo.com/shop/advantage2-lfq/ I've had the Freestyle and didn't care for it. Every time I sat down to use it I had to line it up, having been bumped at some point. And stowing it meant positioning again. I have to conform to a one piece keyboard, but it's the same conformity every time, no fiddling. Re: What are we liking for an ergonomic keyboard nowadays? (Added Bonus: a Mechanical Switch Keyboard site) - RAMd®d - 02-27-2019 I left the image big for clarity. Otherwise I would have sized it smaller. Re: What are we liking for an ergonomic keyboard nowadays? (Added Bonus: a Mechanical Switch Keyboard site) - Paul F. - 02-27-2019 Hmm... I'm not sure what I think of that one yet. The repositioned keys like space and backspace might drive me to drink in short order, OR adapt... not sure which. Re: What are we liking for an ergonomic keyboard nowadays? (Added Bonus: a Mechanical Switch Keyboard site) - mrlynn - 02-27-2019 I'm on my 3rd (or 4th?) Microsoft Natural Elite 4000, also. The last one I spilled coffee in, but it was losing key letters. My current one is down to about 50% of letters missing (they just wear off quickly), but otherwise works fine. Fortunately, I'm a touch typist. I would like a 'clickier' action, but like Paul, I really like the natural position of hands-heading-down, and the 'ergonomic' curvature, too. Wonder if I could paint new letters on. Then, that price jdc posted is great! I have usually paid c. $55 at Staples for mine. I'd like to try one of those Kinesis keyboards that Zoidberg linked to, but $350 is a hefty sum. /Mr Lynn Re: What are we liking for an ergonomic keyboard nowadays? (Added Bonus: a Mechanical Switch Keyboard site) - Paul F. - 02-27-2019 Yeah, mine are mostly worn off too... but as long as I can sit and put my hands on it normally, I don't need 'em. It's only when I need to type a quick password with one hand or something that it slows me down a bit. |
