Directly being refuted twice, by different people, and then doubling down was a special sort of bizarre.
Will we get an apology or other civil acknowledgement of misunderstanding? Of course not. It would promote discourse, and he can’t have that.

Carriers have been in the Gulf for decades. Iran is also well armed. And quite probably HAS a few functional nuclear weapons, as well as biological and chemical weapons. An invasion of Iran would be an act of complete and utter insanity.
