There is a former health spa then retirement home in NE Oregon that went out of business in the 70's .
It was then bought by various people that let it run down , All of a sudden in the early 90's people from out of the area started breaking because it was supposed to be haunted .

Where I grew up, near Youngstown, it was the Mafia. Vince DeNiro getting blown up, Sandy Naples getting shot down on his porch with his girlfriend (ladies, don't date a gangster), etc. Too much real life monstrosity going on there.
