I’m slow. This is all about The Lincoln Project getting under The Orange Emperor’s skin. He wants to tarnish the Lincoln brand.
My favorite related line was how Pelosi wants to remove a set of racist statues from DC, and most were Democrats...

The Democrats put their racist trash to the curb. Nixon dumpster-dived them into his party.
I don't think the GOP as a whole will be pleased to lose the "But we're the party of Lincoln!" card.

Lincoln thought that slavery was morally wrong. He didn't necessarily believe that blacks had the same rights as whites though.
