I can empathize with his going slow down the steps because, like me, he cannot see them because his belly sticks out so far.

Not being able to handle the glass of water has me thinking the plan is for VP Pence to become president some time after the election, should the Trump team win. The president simply has to hold it together for the next few months. We need to see that last physical.

add in the general unsteadiness that often accompanies age (remember, he is 74) and there is as good an explanation as possible.
I'll give him a pass on this topic. Besides, he has far more important failings to be focused on. Just keep this video handy if he goes after Biden for stumbling.
