Dennis,

You need to clarify what you're looking for. If you're looking for an email provider, that's one thing. If you want to host your own email system, that's a different matter entirely. Personally, I go with my own domains and use them conjunction with Fastmail.com. Works very well for my purposes.

I use Zoho for my email provider (in addition to two Yahoo accounts for commercial stuff). I think they still offer two free personal email accounts, ad-free, encrypted, and business email for fees. Zoho of course offers a whole range of business services, but I have no need of them. They do enable me to use my own domain email addresses.
