Hearing the dial-up modems go through the handshake routine really lit up dormant circuits in my brain. But after the first season it really became about character development and their relationships with each other. I don't recall any other series where the writers went so deeply into the psyche of the characters. Likely a different experience to binge watch than to wait for a week between episodes? I hadn't seen Argo until after I had been watching HaCF and was surprised to see both of them together in that movie. Re: Halt and Catch Fire on Netflix - Fritz - 08-22-2020 I got a few eps into the 2nd season, which I thought paled the 1st, and moved on. The best part became the opening sequence.
