Yikes, I would be in trouble.

Last time I got stung it was by one that crawled into my glove and got me on the wrist. Swole up pretty good.

My wife peed on a hornets nest once. She didn't know they nested in the ground. She was very tender in some very sensitive places for a few days.

I had a similar hornet lawnmower experience, except that I won. I realized what I'd done at the last second and pulled the lawnmower back over the opening. A slurry of ex-hornets shot out the side of the mower...

This is a close second to the story a co-worker told me about a mishap his wife has on a rope swing....

How did the wasp do it...?

In the library with a candlestick; and the butler helped.

Once while working on a survey crew up in the mountains, I walked over a wasp nest and got stung on my hand which swelled up like a mickey mouse cartoon hand.

A coworker went into a kind of shock and had to lie down for several minutes. I didn't know wasps could do so much damage.

Wow!

What would have happened if your co-worker had been stung?!

(Yes, I know.)

I've never been stung by a wasp or a yellow jacket and am very careful not to.

As a kid, I was stung by a honey bee and my hand swelled up like a baseball glove.

There were no other symptoms, so it was a very localized reaction.

In the service, I was stung by mosquitos and my face swell up like the Elephant Man losing 15 rounds to Ali.

So yes, I try to be extremely careful around anything that stings.
