The issue is nationally voters will say Senators A, B & C are horrible and need to go. But Senators A,B & C are always somebody else's senator. They vote to keep their "good" senator which allows those horrible A, B & C's too retain power and control.

I can't vote against McConnell, but I can vote against my GOP senator. If enough do that then McConnell will not have any power or influence even if he is reelected.

Michigan is looking to lose a Democratic Senator. Republican John James has momentum and is gaining on incumbent Democratic senator Gary Peters.

Then again, where I live there are many Trump/Pence KAG signs and only the occasional rare Biden sign.

Gary Peters must be some weak tea to not be riding what is otherwise a blue wave of Senators polling ahead of incumbent GOP enablers.
