TLDR:
The subject-line is a quote from the story.
She spent the day of the insurrection with a photographer, taking pics of nick-knacks and furniture. Her passion-project of the moment is a coffee table book promoting her keen eye for grossly expensive and ornate rugs and ornaments. She is described as "checked out." Disinterested.
The writer also said that the first video asking for the rabble to go home and the later video where 45 tried to look "presidential" (but still couldn't help himself and made a big fib) was Ivanka's idea. Basically, she's his proxy-wife right now and she may be the only one with any influence over the Cheeto in Chief.

I've always been of the opinion that she just viewed her relationship as a long term modeling contract. Steady paycheck, lots of time off.
