She seems to fit into the San Francisco School District perfectly - the board just voted to rename 80 schools because the current names are racist or connected to racial situations. Among the schools to be renamed are Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

He was gonna be White one way or another, which means he's always going to represent White privilege. The White guys in suits represented White privilege, too, just in another form. Nothingburger.

Washington is one of my best friend's schools. That's a school that Johnny Mathis and Maya Angelou went to as well.

Don't think there won't be blowback because of this. The general public in San Francisco is more moderate than people think.

San Francisco is the first place I've ever been where grown people really cling to their former high schools for identity. They don't care where you went to college. They "only" care where you went to high school. There will be a reckoning come the next election.

The mayor, London Breed has already opposed this.

She shoulda called me. I would have showed her more specifically where Bernie enjoyed substantial white, male privilege.

To my surprise - you passed on your first chance to take a swipe at Bernie, figured you'd eventually circle back and straighten that out.
