He also wondered if country music isn't popular among many gay people because they've never had an opportunity to relate to it.

Evidently he isn't aware how wildly popular line dancing was in lesbian and gay bars at one point. hats, boots, fringe, and all.

There is a film about gay women songwriters in Nashville friends of mine are involved in. It was on track to make the indie festival rounds last Spring until covid killed its release schedule.

I also am happy that Mr Osborne has chosen to come out.

I hope it was his choice.

I hope his music is better than the 99% of Country that is pure "gonna take my girl (guy) to the lake with my dawg and truck" garbage I usually hear.

And I have been to Gay country bars. Or is that Country Gay Bars? Either way is fine with me.
