If you read the whole thread, and the comments posted early on, you'll see that the conversation evolved. My first comment was about how trust between the Flint community and the government had been destroyed, and that was as much a problem as the problem of water quality. mattkime proposed that the matter was local, and not a federal concern. I was trying to elucidate the role of the federal government, particularly the EPA, in regulating the quality of drinking water. Surely you're aware that threads here don't always strictly adhere to the original subject line.
