Ordinarily, I favor accountability, but it seems that the only way to get republicans to vote with anything resembling a conscience or ethics is to make key votes anonymous.

Remember Liz Cheney? Mixed up in this crap because some wanted her gone due to her holding Trump accountable? Not so much, for colleague Greene.
Cheney wasn't one of the 11 because ya know, Democrats shouldn't interfere in Republican business. End of explanation, apart from prefacing it with the usual declarations of how Greene was in the wrong.

Greene was on the Education and Labor committee and the Budget committee.

The image showed Greene holding an AR-15 and to her right had black and white inserts of progressive Representatives and 'squad' members Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. The caption read 'Sqaud's Worst Nightmare.'

I can't blame the Democrats for 4 years of trying to obstruct blatantly fascist legislature, though. Apart from that, my point remains.
Yeah...I agree, and I'll also be the first to criticize the Ds for that...except I can't think of a time when they obstructed any item in the past 10 years (maybe more) that was actually good for the nation...including judicial nominees.

The problem is that only a tiny minority of voters (I have absolutely no data for this--but I'd bet I'm right...) have any idea of the impact of being kicked off committees. And she'll be raising money on the expulsion. Our last member (Tom Graves) was completely non-communicative. I have no idea what he did, at all, from 2010-2020 and whether he brought any bacon home, at all, to our district. And I pay attention to politics. So, in a practical, electoral sense, what difference will it make? Now, if they could have gotten 2/3 of Congress, they could have kicked her out of Congress and back to Rome, GA, or, even better, back to her pre-carpetbagger home in Alpharetta, GA.

I think that a star is born and agree that it doesn't matter if she is on any committees. She will be talking and texting to the Trump base and they will fight for her. Every time a dem attacks her, he power will rise.
If she learns from Palin's mistakes, she may become a powerhouse in the party, if she doesn't, then she'll just get rich.
